Here are some fun photos and videos of picking up my new truck and the Lyon/Lynn wedding
in Canmore, along with some biking too.

Checking out the new catch berm on The Big Smile.

Full size
Evening at Buffalo Bean is pretty rad.

Full size
Because I was paying Henry per lap, he still wanted to ride even though it was getting dark.

Trying out Mad Dog Loop.

Full size
Henry and Walter doing laps at Buffalo Bean - amazing what happens when I pay them 'per lap' in candy money!

Trip to go buy a Ford Lightning

Full size
Henry and I zipped to Kamloops to pick up a new Ford Lightning from the dealer there.

Full size
Henry thought the mountains were cool as we had super clear skies the whole way to the desert.

Full size
Some of the dry terrain around Kamloops.

Full size
Since banking turns out to take longer than simply moving zeros and ones should take, we wound
up with more time in Kamloops than expected. Soooo, we went to a bike shop (AMAZING bike shop
called DISTRICT that totally hooked us up. Here's Henry trying out a 29er
from Knolly called their Chilcotin.

Full size
Sweetest shuttle van ever - big thanks to Stefan for ripping us around Kamloops and to Dave
for making it happen. "Sooo, I'd like to ride bikes, but I have neither bikes, helmets, or the
means to get ourselves to Kamloops Bike Ranche. Can you help us?"

Full size
The top of the Kamloops Bike Ranch has easily $1M of Velo-solutions pump track action. Henry loved it.

Full size
Pretty fun riding once you remember to lock your fork.

Full size
The advanced line.

Full size
A sweet over-under.

Full size
Henry thought riding on sand was neat.

Full size
Some sweet jumps.

Full size
Another sweet over-under.

Full size
Um, pardon me? These jumps are crazy!

Full size
A seating area on top of a seacan. We might do something like this too.

Full size
The cool RC car area.

Full size
From above.

Full size
How neat is this area?

Full size
Nice emergency locator markers.

Full size
Big map at the top of the Ranch.

Full size
A pretty simple over-under.

Henry says these jumps are cool.

Full size
My new truck.

Full size
Looks nice!

Full size
A double rainbow we saw when I was test-driving my truck.

Full size
Trying to leave Kamloops at ~7pm and then hammer our way home meant that we got stuck on a
road closure on Rogers Pass for 5 hours with a truck on fire. Yeah. So, short hotel night
in Golden and then a quick zip home the next day.

Full size
Charging in Golden at a level 3 charger.

Full size
Nice crisp morning in Golden while Henry slept a bit longer in the hotel.

Full size
New bike rack too!

Full size
And it fits in the garage!

Maria and John's wedding in Canmore

Full size
We went to the rehearsal dinner at Maria and John's house and the monkeys couldn't get enough
of playing in the forest with tools and sticks.

Full size
Being little crazies.

Full size
And proper crazies.

Full size
The cousins loved the hot tub at our townhouse.

Full size
I loved the morning coffee in the mountain air.

Full size
The boys and I ready for the big event.

We got to drive around in this sweet rig, apparently custom built by Ford.

Full size
Walter and I chilling in the open-top bus.

Full size
The ladies in the open-top bus.

Full size
We did 'pre-event photos', which was the first time I've ever seen this done. A neat meadow
spot in Canmore that meant we parked basically in someone's driveway.

Full size
Bridal party coming to see the crew.

Full size
Natalia bringing her sweet new dress out for photos.

Full size
First glimpse of the bride.

Full size
This is a pretty sweet spot for photos.

Full size
With a bit of cropping, this is pretty cool too. This is the first moment for John to see Maria in
her wedding dress - yes, quite dramatic!

Full size
And the first look.

Full size
First kiss.

Full size
Bridal party and Grotto Mountain.

Full size
Very dramatic and 'mid-century glam'.

Full size
The fur stole was necessary as it was quite chilly in the morning until the sun warmed up the area.

Full size
Glam indeed.

Full size
Maria and her sister Natalia.

Full size
And Grotto Mountain.

Full size
Maria and her dad.

Full size
And another photo.

Full size
Not a great shot, but I wanted a look at Natalia's beautiful cupcakes she made.

The boys waiting for the wedding to start.

Full size
Karl, Donni, Carl, and Wendy, and Noah and Walter.

Full size
The celebrant - MLA Sarah Elmeligi, who wrote a beautiful wedding service.

Full size
It was super bright and then not so bright as the sun dropped behind the mountains.

Full size
The main event.

Full size
Where we all sang 'Stand by Me'.

Full size
Walter doing the ring bearer duties (after dropping the rings while waiting).

Full size
He did great. He was absolutely freezing throughout the service, but his brother warmed up his hands for him.

Full size
The happy couple.

Full size
Is it Chinaman's Peak or Ha Ling?

Full size
Natalia serving champagne.

Full size
The boys trying to warm up.

Full size
Natalia and Donni before heading out to the reception.

Full size
Walter wouldn't take a photo for me, but he thought it was cool his name was written in cursive
which they don't learn in school anymore.

Full size
Maria, Henry, and Walter before making a French exit.

Crushing the morning-after brunch buffet at the Malcolm.

Full size

Full size
Walter likes to play with my phone and take and modify photos.

Full size
I don't even know these features yet.

Full size
The crazy cousins.

Full size
And being nice.
